Alan is a Chartered Engineer with particular experience in the instigation, development and management of applied research and the demonstration of projects and programmes across technologies boundaries.
He has worked with Aardvark since 2015 and has specific technical experience in the assessment and selection of technologies and as a project developer for bioenergy projects in the electricity generation and municipal services context. This experience has included the management of diverse projects and programmes, many of which have been delivered as collaborations or partnerships, where the successful understanding of the relationships between participants and external stakeholders can be vital in securing success. He is also experienced in the scoping and procurement of specific packages of research needed to support complex and novel consent applications in both the terrestrial and marine context.
