Aardvark adds two to the team
Aardvark have added two new members to their team at Higher Ford.
Phil Cookson joins Aardvark to help develop the firm’s growing sustainable property development work. He previously worked as sustainability and economy manager with Exmoor National Park Authority.
Meanwhile Luke Sidebottom moves from the Bristol Regional Environmental Record Centre to Aardvark’s environment team where he will specialise in ecology and protected species surveying which now plays a key role in the planning system in England and Wales.
With the environment now firmly located as a serious business concern, Aardvark director Nick Leaney, a Chartered Surveyor, is upbeat about the growth prospects for the practice which started ten years ago when green issues were still confined to the margins of the commercial world.
“Pressure from legislators and consumers are bringing about major shifts in how businesses are run and tough decisions have to be made about corporate social responsibility while at the same time allowing those businesses to prosper.
“It’s these factors and an understanding of our client’s businesses which are driving our own growth as a practice.”
