Ecology Team update
The Aardvark team has recently finished badger, reptile and bat surveys at a residential development site in Dorset in order to discharge conditions attached to the planning consent.
The team is now advising on the appropriate mitigation strategy and biodiversity management plan agreed with the Local Planning Authority and Natural England which will allow development to proceed.
Despite the inclement weather the ecology team has also just completed two further reptile surveys in Somerset and Devon and are curently monitoring badger setts in Somerset, bat presence and activity at a Berkshire school and presence of Dormouse at a site in Devon alongside their regular Phase 1 survey work.
