Aardvark wins NVZ appeal in Taunton

Aardvark's appeal to DEFRA that groundwater under a farm near Taunton, Somerset should not have been identified by the Environment Agency as being polluted and so designated as a Nitrate Vulnerable Zone has been successful.

The independent NVZ Appeals panel has instructed the Secretary of State to re-assess the River Tone catchment and redefine the NVZ boundary.
