Aardvark EM is delighted to welcome Rachel Ness and Rachel Wood to the Planning & Development team responsible for managing and delivering multiple complex renewable energy planning projects.
Rachel Ness is a professional infrastructure town planner with 25 years plus experience in securing planning permissions for renewable energy, waste management and airport development including for large scale nationally significant projects. Prior to joining Aardvark, Rachel headed up the planning teams at Cory Environmental and Covanta Energy, delivering multiple consents for energy from waste facilities, biomass plants, materials recycling facilities and landfills. Latterly Rachel was London City Airport's Director of Infrastructure Strategy and Planning for 7 years, delivering a new Airport Master Plan.
Rachel Wood is a planner with 10 years experience in the renewable energy sector. Prior to joining Aardvark, Rachel held the roles of Project Manager and Development Programme Manager at Lark Energy as well as running her own planning consultancy focusing particularly on the large scale standalone Solar PV sector.
