COVID-19 Response

by Flick Charleswoth

We continue to follow with deep concern the global development of the Coronavirus outbreak and the associated risks it presents to our staff, clients and communities. Whilst the development of vaccines does offer hope for managing this disease in the future, we continue to monitor closely the guidance provided and are committed to doing all that is necessary to keep everyone safe whilst we deliver services to our clients.

Aardvark is very much open for business

However, the ways we interact and service the needs of our clients has had to change. This  has meant that we have adopted the numerous collaboration tools available for us to reduce the need for face-to-face meetings and have restricted our travel to that which is essential for us to undertake work that cannot be done remotely.

We follow current guidance as it develops and review and update our working arrangements as required. Currently, these include the following measures:

  • We are making extensive use of use of conference and video calls, hence minimising the need for travel and face-to-face meetings unless necessary.
  • Site visits will go ahead as required, but the risk assessments for these consider possible coronavirus transmission factors and what mitigation measures are appropriate.
  • Our Somerset office is open in accordance with the Covid Secure Guidance, but many staff are continuing to work from home where this is possible and practical for them to do so.

As the situation and guidance continues evolves, we will keep these measures under constant review and will update the way we work as soon as additional information or advice becomes available. In the meantime, please do make contact if you have any concerns so we can provide the support you may need.
