Nick is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years of advisory experience in the private sector. He is the Chief Operating Officer and the Company Secretary for Aardvark EM Limited, an award wining UK based technical environmental consultancy and the co-founder and a director at Alpaca Communications, a multi award winning creative PR agency.
Nick currently heads up Aardvark's energy and waste planning team guiding investors, developers and landowners on low carbon energy, energy storage and flexible generation projects both in front and behind the meter from concept to completion totalling close to 1GW of installed capacity. Technology experience includes Onshore Wind, Large Scale Solar PV, STOR, Battery Energy Storage Solutions and Energy from Waste.
As well as being part of the leadership team at Aardvark EM, Nick is the co-founder and a Director at Alpaca Communications Ltd (www.alpacacommunications.com) - an award winning PR agency that has been involved in a number of recent high-profile contentious planning applications, from Heathrow’s third runway to the development of the Rotherhithe Thames crossing. Their planning experience is cross sector and includes energy, housing and retail. The award winning team has extensive community consultation and political engagement experience with Enso Energy, CERO, Macquarie Bank, Voltalia, Bluefield, British Solar Renewables, Boom Power, IKEA, Sainsbury, National Grid and Npower on planning applications across the UK.
