Technical Due Diligence

Aardvark work for a number of lenders and investors (traditional debt as well as specialist funders) providing technical and commercial due diligence on renewable energy and waste projects. Technologies assessed include anaerobic digestion facilities; biomass combustion and gasification; solar photovoltaics; wind turbines; waste to energy facilities and in-vessel composting.

Our due diligence auditing covers both the technical capability of the technology, project team, support staff and contracts/accreditation and compliances. In essence the ‘team, theme and scheme’.

We provide technical assurance to lender’s credit control teams where they do not hold the necessary expertise internally, acting as the funder’s engineer or compliance manager. We work closely with our clients, many of which continue engagement with us beyond the construction phase of projects through to operation.
