Our planning and development team work with developers and landowners to bring forward AD projects throughout the UK and to ensure planning compliance for operational plants seeking to secure optimisation measures. Aardvark have in house capability to manage all aspects of the planning process;

·        Initial feasibility and assessment of planning risk;

·        Pre app and EIA screening discussions;

·        Public relations and stakeholder engagement;

·        Preparation of thorough planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments;

·        Determination period negotiations with councils and regulators;

·        Attendance at planning committee;

·        Discharging pre commencement planning conditions; and

·        Making minor and material amendments to projects.

The Aardvark planning team have successfully secured planning consent for a range of AD plants across the UK at both delegated and committee level. We have also acted on behalf of clients throughout the appeal process at both written representation and public hearing level providing expert witness where necessary.
