ZAC HEMBOROUGH
SENIOR PLANNING CONSULTANT
Zac is a Chartered Town Planner who holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Planning and a MSc in Planning Major Projects, both from the University of the West of England.
After progressing to the role of Senior Planning Officer within a Local Planning Authority, Zac joined the Aardvark team in October 2024 as a Senior Planning Consultant. He brings extensive experience in providing professional planning advice and determining a wide range of planning applications and Certificates of Lawfulness.
Since joining Aardvark, Zac has acted as lead consultant and adviser on planning and development matters for a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects, including Ground Mounted Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Wind Turbine developments, guiding projects from initial site feasibility through to consent.
Alongside his consultancy role, Zac operates an agricultural business in Somerset and has a strong interest in how renewable energy development can positively contribute to British agriculture.
